Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is always a fun time in my family. Tradition includes church, driving around looking at lights, a party with stuffed olives and a cheeseball, and its a wonderful life. The morning started off great with some blueberry pancakes.. This year's Christmas Eve was definitely no disappointment. Well, there were two somewhat sad parts to the day.
# 1 was I forgot how to ice skate. Well, not really. But we went ice skating and it has been FOREVER since I've reallly skated and I can't skate anymore! I can't believe I used to play hockey. I'm so horrible now - that was a lil' disappointing to find that out. But we had a blast anyways.
#2 was when I found out I really am an OLD spinster. Well, I atleast look OLD or something. My sister and I were checking out at the store and the cashier kept looking at us. Well, she was astonished at how alike we look as she points out, as if it was obvious, that I was the mom and Janel was my daughter. Janel tried to tell her we were twins but she thought Janel was kidding but thought that we "could pass for being sisters" even though I was the mom and she was the daughter. WHAT? I couldn't say anything back and Janel and I couldn't look at each other otherwise we would bust out laughing. I didn't know how to take that cause usually I get mistaken for being younger than I actually am, not older. Must be my growing hips that look like I've bore many children. Just Kidding. I don't know what it was... but I've learned so far being in North Carolina that I'm from Ohio, I wear boy clothes, and I'm the mother of my twin sister. what a trip.

Thanks for all my cool presents mom.
merry christmas sara. i don't think you look like your twin's mother. and if that's not a comfort to you, remember that I will always be older than you. hug your precious family for me and tell them merry xmas from me and jeff!
That's funny and that is one of those things you should remember the customer is right.
