KIDS! I've been working with kids this summer. Its fun, I LOVE my job. But boy do those kids wear me out!!!! I got sent home early from work Friday cause I have a bad sore throat and felt horrible. Most likely a gift I received from the kids. One day this week a kid ate borax and we had to call poison control and a short time later a kid ate soap in the bathroom trying to make bubbles in his mouth. We had to sit down and have a talk about what NOT to put in our mouths. There is never a dull moment when you are working with kids.

There is a guy that works with Rory who's wife is prego with their 11th kid. They have to have a lot of energy to keep up with 11 kids.
It sounds like you are having a fun... and exhausting time with the kids. I use to work with the elderly and we were trying to mimic a Jackson Pollock painting. Well, one guy had green stuff coming out of his mouth all of a sudden. We discovered he was just eating the paint. Thankfully it wasn't poisonous.
there certainly isn't a dull moment. bubble machine makin' kid eh? that's funny!
What size kid are we talking about? Yeah, those college kids are hard to handle. Always having to watch that they don't eat poison or fall off a ledge. And having those sit-down talks about not pulling hair or not taking toys from their neighbor. Sheesh, they sure can be challenging at times. Good job; we admire you! (o:
