Some Days Require Tears

This is a sad day today. Our Friend Erin left today. She is moving to Michigan - far away. She graduated and is going to get a teaching job there. I lived with Erin for many years. She's one of those people that are just GREAT friends and you have so many laughing memories together. She's is one of the most generous people I know. She's adventurous (thats why she is leaving) and I will miss her SO very much! Today we all went out to breakfast and then parted our own ways. It was a sad moment - bitter sweet in a sense. I am sad Erin is leaving, but I am excited for her. I know good things await her in Michigan. I know there is a lot of life and adventure in store for her. I am excited for her, but this was just one of those days that required some tears - it was unavoidable. There is an empty feeling to the day... something missing.... oh - wait - Erin. It is Erin that is missing.
