Disappointment

I experienced great disappointment today. I was excited when my roommate offered to go to the store and buy us all snacks. She purchased for me a package of hostess ding dongs. I was so excited as I looked at the package and saw the delicious looking chocolate treat with a creamy filling. I LOVE cream fillings! What would an oreo be without the cream filling? Well, I came to find out that Ding Dongs aren't as enjoyable without the cream filling as well. I began to eat into my 1st ding dong questioning when I would get to the cream filling. I took my last bite without EVER reaching the cream filling. I was sad as I looked over to my roommate on the other couch who was eating her hostess treat, which contained plenty of creamy filling! I remained optimistic however, thinking that my second treat in the package must definitely have filling. um, nope! Life's not always fair and disappointment is inevitable. But, I remain optimistic that the next time I have a hostess treat I will be satisfied.

Jason Bourne

Today I watched the Bourne Identity. I have to admit, I really enjoy the Bourne Series. . . And I am excited cause rumor has it that the Bourne Ultimatum comes out in 2007. Thats this year! Hopefully it is just as enjoyable as the first two, which I'm sure it will be!

sick

I've been sick for a week now - being sick isn't fun. I am feeling much better. I look back on earlier in the week and I was so miserable compared to how I feel now. Now I'm just feeling weak and tired a lot. I take lots of naps. Naps are good. I've never been so rested. I've never went to bed by 9pm so many days in a 1 week time period. Anyways, being sick isn't fun. Being healthy is. Stay healthy!

Yesterday I did something I never thought I would be able to do. I was chattin' with a friend drinkin' some coffee.... in a STARBUCKS. I NEVER thought we'd EVER get a starbucks in Pocatello. It almost felt unreal. It is a smaller starbucks compared to ones I've enjoyed in the past. Now, I do agree that starbucks doesn't have the best coffee... I still believe the best coffee in P-town is Locally owned and operated Double Shot. But, I enjoy the occassional visit to starbucks cause I love the starbucks atmosphere. Maybe just because it brings back good memories of past experiences in starbucks... reading a good book, chattin' with friends, eating some enjoyable pumpkin loaf... :)
