Feeling rather strongly about cats today

I know when my dog REALLY has to use the bathroom - she jumps on me and starts to bite my hands. This morning she REALLY had to go. I was awakened by a dog pouncing on my stomache and wet teeth and slobber all over my hands. Some people think that is gross, personally, I think it is kind of cute. I love my dog. I love it when other people love my dog. There are some girls who come over for a bible study who love her... and our friend Pooh who comes over and loves on her... this is a good thing. I think I could only marry a man who loves my dog or dogs in general. If a guy has cats or likes cats, not a chance in hell will I marry them... Ok, that was kind of extreme, but today I am feeling rather strongly about that. I saw a stinkin' HUGE cat in the cemetary today, I thought it was a fox... nope, just a stupid cat.

:(

Today I feel sick... Right at this moment, my head feels as if it is going to explode... I hate this feeling. The one thing about this feeling is that it makes me crave hot and sour soup... don't know why. But, will I find comfort in hot and sour soup? - maybe I will try.
Tomorrow I go to Butte, Mt for 4 days for a retreat with Chi Alpha... hopefully Butte Montana has hot and sour soup... but I am doubting they will have good hot and sour soup, but they do have good pork chop johns.

Day of Love or Chocolate.

Now, most of you know that I haven't been eating sugar for 5 weeks now, and I planned on not eating sugar for quite some time... however, I ATE CHOCOLATE yesterday... I came to the conclusion that if you can't have love on valentines day, you must have chocolate. So, I partook in the greatest chocolate fondu that was so yummy to my tummy!

Passion

I thought it was quite interesting that I was reading in the paper that the theme for the opening of the olympics was "Passion." I had been thinking about Passion a lot lately - and someone told me one day recently that she had read something that stated that passion was allowed in almost every arena, except for the church. I thought this was interesting, to be passionate about sports teams is cool - to be passionate in the church about God is just weird... I think God created us to be passionate about Him. I read in a book today, it was a book about business practices, but this is still a cool quote: "You can't manufacture passion or "motivate" people to feel passionate. You can only discover what ignites your passion and the passions of those around you." I found one thing that ignites my passion - Jesus. I think Jesus wants to ignite passion in everyone, if only they were willing.
I never used to be passionate about God - but the more I develop a relationship with Jesus and spend time with him, talking to him, praying, reading the Bible, listening to him, the more I fall in love with him and am passionate about him.

--by the way, this is a picture of my friends in Washington. They are GREAT people who I like a lot! They are passionate people. Even though the two guys heads are shaved, they aren't cult people. :) They just like bald heads, its a cool thing to be bald or something.

In the state of Depression, I mean Washington

I am currently in Washington - the last couple of days the state of Washington has been the state of depression and we all know why: The Super Bowl. This was a sad day for many in Washington. I give Wa. props though because they do have some team spirit -- they are very passionate about the Seahawks and Mariners. When times are good or times are bad, they continue to be passionate about their teams. This I like about Washington. Oh, and I love the fact that Wa is passionate about coffee. Oh, my coffee fix has been sooooo good these last couple of days! This is the place where they know about coffee! If anyone is wondering "where would be a good place to live my life?" I might suggest Washington.

Smiles make me happy

Just as Fawn's food smiled at her (http://fawnjohnsonfawnjohn.blospot.com),
my coffee cup was smiling at me this morning telling me to have a happy day. So, I think I will listen to it and have a happy day.

Stressful turns into good.

Yesterday was a stressful and scary day. I got a message from my sister saying "Colleen (my 17month old niece) got burned badly with hot water and is being airvac'd to another hospital." That made my heart sink! I got so many people praying for her and I prayed my gutts out for her and guess what? ? ? Kinda a little miracle happened! She is doing SOOOO stinkin' good that she was able to go home TODAY! Only in the hospital for like 24 hours. Tonight she was home dancin' in the kitchen, probably celebrating how good she is doing and that she is home and that her Good God took care of her. :)
